A Problem Solver
As a Vice President in the private sector, Murali solves problems for a living. Send him to Mason City Council to encourage civic participation, promote business growth and innovation, and support policies that keep Mason a great place to live and raise a family!
Murali and his wife have called Mason home since 2014.
Like so many other families, my wife and I chose Mason to build our lives and raise our two children, drawn by its excellent schools, economic opportunities, and safe, welcoming community. I’ve lived in Mason for 11 years, and our family is deeply rooted here — with one Mason alum and one current student in our schools. For the past 27 years, I have proudly called the Greater Cincinnati area home. Throughout that time, I have actively volunteered and worked to build stronger civic connections, believing deeply that every resident deserves a voice and a sense of belonging. My firsthand experience as a parent, community volunteer, and civic participant gives me a clear understanding of the priorities that matter most to Mason families: excellent education, public safety, a healthy environment, and a strong sense of community. Professionally, I bring decades of business leadership and global experience across India, Singapore, and the United States. As a vice president in the private sector, I solve complex problems every day — from driving growth and efficiency to supporting startups and fostering innovation. I know what it takes to help organizations thrive and to deliver results that matter.

My commitment to Mason is simple:
  • Encourage civic participation and shared responsibility
  • Promote business growth and innovation to secure economic opportunities for future generations
  • Support policies that keep Mason safe, healthy, and family-friendly
  • Ensure every voice is represented, especially those who are new to local government

Mason is an incredible community, and together, we can make it even stronger — for ourselves, our children, and generations to come.
Let’s instill Our City, Our Responsibility mindset among all residents.
Our City. Our Responsibility.
